“JUMP INTO THE CLEANSING STREAM”

So I heard the Lord say that we are to enter the year, 2017, pursuing holiness.  I Thessalonians 5:23 says, “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

IN THIS SEASON YOU MUST NO LONGER TOLERATE COMPROMISE IN YOUR LIFE!!!

You cannot keep one foot in the church and one foot in the world.  It is time to get serious with the Lord.  God is calling for holiness- a life separated unto HIM and for HIM.  Get off the fence.  You wonder why your life is in chaos.  A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.

You cannot have it both ways.  You will either surrender your life completely and solemnly to the Lord or you will continue to suffer the consequences of your decisions.

You must be willing to confront the strongholds and issues that have been dogging you.  Only through His grace can you deal with these struggles.

It’s time to jump into the cleansing stream and let the Spirit of God cleanse you of all filthiness of flesh.

I Thessalonians 4:3-7 says, “For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in passion of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God; that no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also forewarned you and testified.

For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness.”

Uncleanness is not just sexual sin.  I charge you that anger, jealousy, idolatry, selfish ambition, covetousness, strife, rebellion, pride, discord, hatred, gossip, etc., brings an uncleanness to your soul.  It dirties your soul- your mind, will, and emotions.  When that happens your soul is darkened.

Look at what Jesus said in Matthew 6:22-23, “the lamp of the body is the eye.  If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light.  But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness.  If therefore the light in you is darkness, how great is that darkness.”

If you read the story of Samson in the book of Judges chapters 13-16, you will see how passions, lust, pride, lying, manipulation, and zeal for the things of his flesh ruined one man’s incredible destiny.  He was consecrated unto God at his birth to fulfill the will and plan of God.  His lack of desire for the things of God and his worldly gaze shifted him from holiness to the lust of his flesh.

My friends, these are life and death decisions that are upon you and me.

We cannot afford to choose the world.  It will bring death.

So the Lord says to you, “In this new year that is upon you, consecrate yourself to Me in a new and fresh way.  Jump into the cleansing stream and let Me cleanse your heart, your mind, and body of all sin.  Let the washing of the water of My Word purify your soul.  I am longing for My Bride to be holy as I am holy.”
